- Q: Are there any costs associated with your educational programs?
- A: No, the Industry Relations team offers all of our educational programs and material at absolutely no cost to you. There is no sign up or registration fee for participants. We also cover all our own expenses, including travel and lodging.
- Q: Will this presentation be a commercial for AutoTrader.com?
- A: No, we don't promote our products unless specifically asked to speak about our products. Our purpose is to serve as a resource to provide educational material and strategic support to our partners. Our goal is to help the automotive community leverage the Internet for success in today's market.
- Q: What formats do you offer for program delivery?
- A: Our programs can be delivered in a variety of formats. We are available for workshops, webinars and general sessions. We can conduct our programs as part of an all day session or as a stand-alone meeting.
- Q: Do you have any "off the shelf" programs available to choose from?
- A: Yes, we have a variety of fully developed workshops available. Our program topics include but are not limited to:

- Q: Do you offer customized presentations?
- A: If you don't see a program of interest in our list of topics or if you have a specific program request, we can work with you to customize a current program or even develop new program material that will meet your needs.
- Q: Are there any supporting materials that you offer along with the workshop?
- A: We believe that the education from our workshops should not end with the participant. We have a variety of companion pieces and/or take-away materials available that we provide to workshop participants as appropriate. Our support materials may include:
- A follow-along participant's guide
- A preloaded flash drive containing the workshop presentation
- Educational leave-behind materials
- Q: What is an ideal workshop length?
- A: For workshops, we can tailor a presentation to meet your needs, but in order to maximize the experience and education for participants, we recommend session lengths from 45 minutes to two hours, plus a question and answer period. From our experience, we have found an hour and a half is an ideal length for a workshop, but we can work with you to determine the best presentation to fit your needs.
- Q: What is an ideal workshop size?
- A: To maximize the attendees' experience and sharing of ideas, we prefer a workshop size of at least 10 dealerships in attendance. We will follow up one week in advance to confirm final attendance numbers in order to determine whether or not it would be beneficial to keep the date or to reschedule for attendance purposes.
- Q: Do you provide in-dealership training on AutoTrader.com products?
- A: The AutoTrader.com Industry Relations team does not provide in-dealership training on our product, but we are happy to put you in touch with the right AutoTrader.com dealer training representative to assist you.
- Q: How can I schedule a workshop?
- A: If you are interested in scheduling an educational workshop or other speaking engagement, you can contact us, and an Industry Relations team member will contact you shortly to discuss your needs.
- Q: Can you provide educational material without scheduling a workshop?
- A: Yes, you can download material and research from this site, and we can provide additional material on a case-by-case basis. We refrain from sharing full presentations on this site due to the instructive nature of the content, but you can contact us directly to determine a solution to your educational needs.
